If you haven't registered to vote yet, and would like to participate in the upcoming Gubernatorial election, you have time according to the Alabama State of Secretary site...

"To participate in an election, you must submit your application before registration closes for that election. Registration is closed during the fourteen days prior to an election and on election day."

Our Women's Equity/Community Service Committee is partnering with the Veteran's ERG to support the homeless Veteran population in our area. Supplies are listed in the picture. Drop off locations are; 400 Diamond Dr; 308 Clinton Call Center; Madison, Bridgestreet, and University retail stores; as well as at the Local.

The two attachments were released by District 3 regarding the 14 hour OT cap for Wire Techs. The District presented different scenarios to the Company and the Company came back with THEIR interpretation. The District has filed an immediate Executive Level grievance regarding this matter.

Due to the Labor Day holiday, the September meeting has been moved to 9/11/208. 

I've attached a copy of the bylaw changes that were covered during last nights meeting. The only other changes that were made are listed below:

Pg 5, D1- Changed the bylaws description from, "The By-laws committee is responsible for recommending and researching any changes in the Local's by-laws" to read, "The By- Laws Committee is responsible for researching any changes made by the Eboard to the Local’s By-Laws, for recommendation of approval to the membership."
