Mobility Mandatory Vaccine Communication

Vaccine Policy Notification: CWA-Represented Mobility Employee Note

Timing: Wednesday, Sept. 29, 11 a.m. CT
Subject: New vaccine requirement for CWA-represented employees

To: CWA-represented Mobility employees, with a copy to their supervisors
We announced in August a new COVID-19 vaccine policy for most managers. At that same time, we
shared that we were in discussions with our union partners on a policy for union-represented
employees.

In an effort to help create a safer workplace and in alignment with the Biden administration’s vaccine
mandate rules, we will now require* that CWA-represented employees who come into work
locations, client and customer events or sites, or who are temporarily working from home be fully
vaccinated and compliant with the policy by Feb. 1, 2022, unless you get an approved job
accommodation.

• If you are already vaccinated, pleasemake sure you’ve attested to your vaccinated status,
uploaded an image of your vaccine card and enabled vaccine perks to be fully compliant.
• If your job requires you to come into an AT&T work location, client and customer event or site
and you are not yet vaccinated, you will need to make plans to do so by Feb. 1, 2022. This
includes attesting to your vaccinated status, uploading an image of your vaccine card and
enabling vaccine perks to be compliant with the policy. If you can’t get vaccinated, you’ll need to
apply and be approved for an accommodation.
• Verify through the Personal Learning Experience that you have reviewed the policy.
• Your supervisor must allow company-paid time to review the policy and related
communications, as well as separate time during work hours for you to get vaccinated.

What if I don’t get vaccinated?
• If you’re not fully vaccinated and compliant with the policy by Feb. 1, 2022, and do not have an
approved job accommodation, you will be suspended without pay from your job for up to 60
days to allow time for you to reconsider vaccination.
o If you DO get vaccinated, you will be permitted to return to the workplace as soon as
you are fully vaccinated, have attested to your vaccinated status, uploaded an image of
your vaccine card and enabled vaccine perks.
o If you DO NOT get fully vaccinated by the end of this 60-day period – and you don’t have
an approved job accommodation or permanent work-from-home status – you will be
terminated. However, you will not have your rehire indicator marked as “no” due to
non-compliance with the policy (i.e. being fully vaccinated, attesting to your vaccinated
status, uploading an image of your vaccine card and enabling vaccine perks).

We know you’ll likely have more questions. You can find answers in the policy document and FAQ, or by
reaching out to the HR COVID-19 Task Force Teamor your supervisor – they’ll be briefed on the new
policy to help.

Thank you for helping us navigate this next phase of the pandemic.

*Montana employees are excluded by law from the vaccine requirement.
